What a scam. I signed up for a $0.99 Blender introduction last month.
First off, the course was terrible and obviously $0.99 won't hurt anyone. I ignored follow-up emails and unsubscribed to everything else to keep my inbox clean, and all is well in my world. Or so I thought.
To my utter surprise I got charged $349 today for a Domestika PLUS subscription I never signed up for.
Turns out that the SMALL print at the bottom of the intro email mentions the $349 annual auto renewal. This is malpractice teetering on fraudulence, or even robbery.
I think this is misleading and terrible business practice.
A quick search reveals that many other users are just as disgruntled as I am. I hope to receive a refund from Domestika directly, or from PayPal to whom I reported the misconduct.

Yesterday morning, $329 was deducted from my bank account salary, which is my whole month's salary through which I feed my family. I am not using the app or any course in the last month; I just tried it for a trial, but from that day I don't use it.

After signing up for an online rug class in November 2024 for $0.99, Domestika charged my credit card $119.99 in December 2024, which I was not made aware of until they charged me $329.00 in December of 2025. I tried calling and did not get through. They have charged me a total of $448.99 for something I did not agree to.

Hoy se me ha realizado un cargo en mi cuenta de PayPal correspondiente a una renovación de Domestika Plus, sin haber recibido ningún aviso previo ni notificación de que se fuera a efectuar este cobro.
No era consciente de esta renovación ni la autoricé en este momento. En cuanto vi el cargo, cancelé la suscripción para evitar futuros cobros.
Dado que el cargo se ha realizado hoy y no fui informada previamente, solicito por favor el reembolso del importe cobrado a través de PayPal.
Quedo atenta a su respuesta y puedo facilitar cualquier información adicional que necesiten.

Me pongo en contacto con ustedes desde una situación muy sensible para mi familia.
El 6 de agosto de 2025 se me realizó un cargo de $193.02 USD por una suscripción Domestika Plus (ID de transacción: 30N29347HU427601C).
Este cargo me tomó totalmente por sorpresa, pues nunca lo autoricé de manera consciente.
Lo que realmente sucedió es que, con mucha ilusión, compré un curso de pulseras por 19 MXN porque mi hija quiere aprender a hacerlas. En mi familia estamos pasando por momentos económicos complicados y ella, con toda la inocencia y las ganas de ayudar, pensó en aprender algo útil para apoyar.
Con la emoción de la compra, jamás imaginamos que se activaría una suscripción anual de tanto dinero, menos aún sin un aviso previo claro.
Ese cobro de más de 190 USD nos afectó muchísimo porque no teníamos contemplado ese gasto, y al revisar ya aparecía como si estuviéramos en un plan, del cual nunca fuimos conscientes.
Por eso les pido de corazón que reconsideren nuestra situación:
Les solicito la cancelación inmediata de la suscripción.
Y el reembolso completo del cargo realizado.
No hemos hecho uso de los beneficios de la suscripción después del cobro. Les ruego comprendan que este dinero sí lo necesitamos en casa, y más tratándose de una compra que inició con la ilusión de mi hija por aprender algo sencillo y económico.
Estoy seguro de que una empresa como Domestika puede mostrar sensibilidad y ayudar en un caso así.
Quedo muy agradecido por la atención y en espera de una respuesta positiva.

I have signed up for a 1.45 USD course. This is what I signed up for, and they have now charged 260 dollars out of my account.
I have never intended to spend that money, nor can I afford it. I have contacted the company with very little success.

Unknowingly, they upgraded my account now for 2 years. I just had $169.99 taken out of my PayPal account, and they refuse to refund me.
I'm so upset. They don't allow you to talk to anyone. It's only email and an AI agent that keeps sending you to email.
There is zero customer service that is human. It's maddening.

They signed me up for a stupid annual subscription without my knowledge and then proceeded to charge me 560AUD even when I managed to cancel the subscription in time. I am contacting my bank as I type this, this company is a scam artist that does not deserve any of our money. If I could rate lower than 1 I would.

I usually dont write reviews, but I feel its important to share my experience. A few days ago, I purchased a small drawing course on Domestika for less than $2.
I was excited to try the platform, but to my surprise, I was later charged $179 for a Domestika Plus membership something I never intended to subscribe to.
At no point did I knowingly activate a free trial or agree to a recurring plan. I truly believe this was a misunderstanding or system error. I reached out to customer support, hoping to clarify the situation and request a refund. However, I was told that subscription payments are non-refundable.
I completely understand that companies have policies, but in this case, I genuinely did not authorize the charge.
I am not interested in additional courses, and I only planned to access the single course I paid for.
I still trust that Domestika is a responsible company, and I hope they can take a closer look at cases like mine.
I would sincerely appreciate a resolution that reflects fairness and customer care. Thank you for taking the time to read my experience.
